Based on our military grade Concertainer™, HESCO flood barriers can be deployed quickly and easily. They enable you to construct flood defenses without the need for specialized tradesmen or equipment.
When FLOODLINE units are joined and filled, their cellular structure and mesh framework create walls of exceptional strength and structural integrity, capable of halting fast moving, debris-filled flood waters.
FLOODLINE protects homes from 100-year flood events, hurricanes and seasonal storms. The barriers ensure critical infrastructure remains functioning so emergency service routes can stay open.
FLOODLINE can be planted with suitable grasses and vegetation to form a natural landscape, as well as a protective structure. This makes it ideal for areas at risk of regular flooding, like a river or canal bank.
FLOODLINE is ideal for emergency flood response, offering significant advantages over traditional sandbags, in terms of cost, time and labor requirement for installation.
A wall using HESCO earth-filled barrier can be filled by two people and a standard front-end loader in just 20 minutes. The equivalent sized wall of 1,500 sandbags can take 10 people up to 7 hours to fill and build.
The unique design, strength and versatility of the unit means that corners can be constructed easily, shaping the protective storm barrier to its surrounding landscape.
HESCO Emergency Response Team are on hand to travel anywhere in the world at a moment’s notice. They will advise agencies on the best course of action when the warnings sound or trained deployment teams arrive at the scene of the flood.

The fill material used in building walls has a significant bearing on the walls’ protective qualities. Generally, the ideal fill is a sand/gravel mix. This offers good construction characteristics, but, more importantly, offers a high degree of protection.
Our Emergency Response Team can provide training prior to the flood event, or, if an immediate deployment is needed, provide on the ground support.
Our onsite support and training packages are available anywhere in the world and allow the end-user a direct line of communication throughout the installation.
