The judges of this year’s competition were unable to decide between two photographs and so they have decided to award a Harley Davidson FatBoy motorcycle to both entrants – Justin Barter of 38 Engineer Regiment (N Yorkshire) and Lloyd Welty of HHC ICD.
Commenting on this year’s entrants, the judges said ‘This year we were looking for striking, inspirational and creative digital images of Concertainer units being deployed in military or defence environments. The quality of entries was exceptional and in the end we were split as to an outright winner, so we decided to award a Harley Davidson FatBoy first prize to both!’
Five runners up will receive a fantastic Sony Play Station Portable and video game in return for their entries.
Due to the success of the 2007 competition, Hesco will be again running the photo competition for 2008. For those interested in entering and possibly becoming the owner of a brand new Harley FatBoy, look out for details soon at www.hesco.com, and in defence publications.
